OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EVERY CHILD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS REGARDLESS OF THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES.
WHO DO WE HELP?
Any kiwi youth nationwide, aged 11-21, that wants to get involved in sport and needs a helping hand – that can be sports fees, gear, food, gym, coaching or a combination of the above.
We are using sport as a tool to develop better communication skills, confidence, friendships, team working ability, leadership skills and to build mental health resilience.
"Kiwis who meet the global physical activity recommendations of at least 2.5 hours of moderate to vigorous-intensity physical activity a week are 51% more likely to have healthy mental wellbeing."
